Creed
To love, respect, understand, and guide the student for a life of unfolding possibilities is the task of the teacher; to give aid, counsel, and support to fellow teachers and to all agencies promoting the love of truth, beauty, and goodness is the priviledge of the teacher.

THE FRANK FLANDERS OUTSTANDING
CHAPTER MEMBER AWARD
Dr. Frank Flanders served as the advisor of Alpha Epsilon Chapter at the University of Georgia in Athens for many years. His service to Kappa Delta Epsilon includes being our first webmaster, chairman of the Outstanding Member Award Committee, and a member of the National Council. He received the Outstanding Advisor Award given by the Professional Fraternity Association.
The Frank Flanders Outstanding Chapter Member Award is presented by each chapter to a member chosen by that chapter for outstanding service given the past year. In March, the National Office will distribute a certificate to each chapter in good standing. This certificate can be given to the chosen member. Each chapter determines its own criteria for selecting the recipient. A chapter’s good standing eligibility is determined as stated in the Constitution and Bylaws of Kappa Delta Epsilon. The name of each chapter’s outstanding member should be submitted to the national president. Recognition will be given to those individuals in THE CURRENT and at the national convention.
