GYFA Summer Tour Highlights and Registration

This annual event is held in a Georgia county or combination of surrounding counties where there is an active Young Farmers chapter to host the event. The tour showcases agriculture in these counties, and gives participants an overview of selected agribusiness and agricultural production sites.

Sunbelt Ag Expo

The 2024 Sunbelt Ag Expo will be held on October 15-17, in Moultrie, GA. The Georgia Young Farmers will have their annual Que-Fest at the Sunbelt Ag Expo on Wednesday October 16, 2024, followed by a dinner that night. Stop by the Young Farmer tent for some sweet treats and visit with the local Young Farmer chapters as they compete for the best meat, best booth, and in a game of horse shoes.

South Region Young Farmer Caucus: Sunbelt Ag Expo -Monday, November 4

North Region Young Farmer Caucus: Gilmer county Ag Center- Thursday, November 7

Central Region Young Farmer Caucus: West Laurens County High School - Monday, November 12

GYFA State Convention

The GYFA State Convention is held annually. The location rotates around the state. The GYFA Convention is a highlight of the year for GYFA members. State Award winners are announced, scholarship winners are recognized and newly elected Board of Directors are installed. The Georgia Young Farmers Association convention is a family event and offers fun family activities and women's programs each year in the agenda.
