Chelsea Begnaud & John Collins

Welcome to the North Region! John Collins and Chelsea Begnaud are the two new Agriculture teachers at Oconee County High School. John comes to the North Region from Lee County where he taught for two years and Chelsea comes to us from Jasper County.  The Oconee County High School Agriculture program is currently offering Basic Agricultural Science as well as courses in Agricultural Mechanics, Animal Science and Leadership Development. John and Chelsea are looking to expand the course offerings to include Horticulture and Forestry courses as they work together to grow the program. Congratulations Chelsea and John! We look forward to working with you and to seeing good things from the Oconee County High School FFA Chapter!

Leonard Brogdon

Mr. Leonard Brogdon is great example of Living to Serve. Mr. Brogdon retired from Bowdon High School a few years back and has thoroughly enjoyed his "retired life" with his family. However, when Temple High School was faced with an unexpected teaching vacancy earlier this year, Mr. Brogdon stepped up to fill the gap. Seeing the need, Mr. Brogdon knew the students of Temple deserved all the opportunities afforded to FFA members there. We would like to thank Mr. Brogdon for his many years of service and especially what he has done this semester for the students at Temple High School.
